A Mechwarrior Feature Film?

I was just reading up on a proposed Mechwarrior feature film. A production company named Electric Entertainment is the bearer of an option to make a feature film based on the Mechwarrior 'verse. Unfortunately, any proposed Mechwarrior movie is in limbo for lack of funding, and has been since 2003. If anyone has fresh information about a Mechwarrior movie, let me know!

A Mechwarrior Short Film?

I saw a mention at Wikipedia about a short Mechwarrior film done in conjunction with Wizkids. Supposedly it was going to be done through the DAVE School of design. Has anyone heard anything new about it? The link Wiki provided was a dud. . .

Petition for a Mechwarrior Movie

In an effort to convince Hollywood there is enough grassroots interest in a Mechwarrior feature film, some Mechwarrior fans have put together a petition to request a full-on Mechwarrior movie.
