CBS did a noble thing firing Imus today. The world is a little safer now, and I think we all feel good about ourselves. But in their quest to rid the world of Ho-speak, they've only just begun.
In order to really clean house, they'll need to divest themselves of the following subsidiaries:
Comedy Central, with it's "edgy", "urban" comics.
MTV -- or maybe they could just convince Snoop and the rest of the guys to substitute "proud, strong, black women" in place of "hos" in their lyrics. . . It could happen.
The hypocrisy of every party involved in this situation is just amazing.
