This year I'm thankful to God for:
- the DuchessPosted by Discoshaman at novembre 24, 2005 02:12 AM | TrackBack- my yellow-haired monkeys
- to be back in the Land of the Free (if only for a couple of years),
- for those fighting to protect our country and bring freedom to the people of Iraq. Let's remember them in prayer.
Happy Thanksgiving Disco and Family!
Enjoy. Ephesians 3:16-21 is my prayer for you all. May God give you more to thank Him for!
Inscrutable Discoshaman,
I gather from the Duchess's blog that you have family with you this holiday. Enjoy. Feel blessed for you are. Colossians 3:17.
I, too am thankful for so many things. I think God is going to give me the gift of perspective this holiday: my wife and I are leaving for a conference in Cuba tomorrow morning. It's not my first trip there, but I'm sure that I will come back with even greater appreciation for our liberty, the freedom of our churches (the Cuban government still hasn't approved our humanitarian visas because we will be visiting and helping churches: we hope that the visas will be waiting for us at the Havanna airport) and the brave men and women that serve to keep us free. We will give thanks for our prosperity and self-determination. And even the freedom of information: we're dropping off the grid for 8 days since the Cuban government doesn't trust its citizens with access to the WWW.
May you, your family and the entire Le Sabot blogo-community remember that we only have the illusion of control in our lives and that we must thank God every day for the gifts we enjoy by grace and grace alone.

Thanks, pal. :) And I'm glad you enjoyed the Thanksgiving article.
CU BUffalo 86-
Hurry back to us. My wife lived in Cuba for several years, she's green with envy right now. I hope you're able to have an impact with your work there. Lord's blessing upon your endeavors.
