The Corner was trying to decide this question the other day. While Paul Krugman is the most pompously irritating, I'm going to have to go with MoDo. Maureen Dowd's blend of superficial cleverness, cheek and the occasional snappy line was entertaining for a few months. Unfortuately, that was like five years years ago. Her schtick is tired and tiresome. Until I discovered MoDo, I'd never understood Noel Cowards maxim that "Certain women should be struck regularly--like a gong."
Who's your nomination?
On the hypersensationalist raging liberal cartoonist-columnist side of things, there's always Ted Rall's writing to let us know that "Karl Rove is worse than Osama bin Laden" and other such drivel...
Posted by: Jared Bridges at juillet 14, 2005 08:09 PMYou guys have covered it with these three, at least in terms of what I see regularly. Krugman, Dowd and Rall are a Murderers Row for truth.
Posted by: Glenn at juillet 14, 2005 10:33 PMWell, I've got to throw Molly Ivins' good-ol-gal Stetson into this ring. She spews the same dreck, but does it with a Texas twang, which irritates me to no end.
