100 Wonders of the World

Rebecca Writes links to the Top 100 Wonders of the World. It's discouraging to see how much of the world you -haven't- yet seen. I'm 30 this year, so I need to get busy. . . I've got these crossed off the list:

1. Pyramids of Egypt at Giza 2. Grand Canyon 3. Karnak Temple 4. Acropolis/Parthenon 5. Nile River Cruise 6. Egyptian Museum 7. Valley of the Kings 8. Louvre Museum 9. Versailles 10. Carlsbad Caverns 11. Prague Old Town 12. Delphi 13. Sahara Desert 14. NY Skyline 15. Eiffel Tower 16. Niagra Falls 17. Suez Canal 18. San Francisco 19. Yosemite Nat'l Park

I'm 31 this year, and I get to claim, lessee: 8, 10, 11, 15, er, well, that's it. All since the age of 27.

But then, I've also lived for two years in Japan, and I would *NEVER* have believed I'd do that.

God is good.

Cheers,
PGE

It's only one for me--Yellowstone.

And to tell you the truth, I think there are many parts of Alaska that are much more wondrous than Yellowstone.

Wow. I'm impressed that you've been to 19 of them. I consider myself well-traveled, and I've only been to 6.

Um yeah, so hick mom here can count Carlsbad Caverns (when I was 7) and the New York Skyline (we were there for a total of 8 hours, so it wasn't like we really experienced it either).

Yawn for me.

It would be fun to rank these personally in the order in which you are least likely to see them. I figure Ayers Rock should be towards the top, not because it's not worth seeing, but just because its in the desert, 300 miles from the closest cold beer.
