Ukraine Update -- 19 Feb

I saved my Ukraine update for last, and now I really need to hit the rack. For tonight, in lieu of my regular stuff I'm going to post links to some good English-language resources on the contemporary sitch here.

- SBU launches criminal investigation into eavesdropping on Yushchenko and Tymoshenko.

- Too many corpses (Kyiv Post editorial)

- Deprivatization, carefully (Another KP joint)

- Political analysts chat about the Zvarych resignation

- MOVEMENT TOWARD UNIFICATION OF PRO-YUSHCHENKO CAMP STALLS

- PROFOUND GENERATION SHIFT FOLLOWS UKRAINE'S ORANGE REVOLUTION

- Check back tomorrow for a full update!

Thanks for the links to the articles and for making me take a look at the main page of the Kyiv Post - I read the diatribe editorial about the wines being taken off the shelf in Canada and blew a gasket. The author was WAY out of line. "The West, having condemned the Nazis, forgot to condemn communism ..." from an article about Pres. Adamkus' decision not to go to Moscow for the May 9 celebrations. I agree and it was a real shocker that in the midst of the Baltic states controversy, the Yalta statue in Krym being protested, that Kyiv Post could print such a piece of, yes, I say it, trash.

THE HUMAN PARADIGM - intro
Man is earth's Choicemaker. Psalm 25:12 He is by nature
and nature's God a creature of Choice - and of Criteria.
Psalm 119:30,173 His unique and definitive characteristic
is, and of Right ought to be, the natural foundation of
his environments, institutions, and respectful relations
to his fellow-man. Thus, he is oriented to a Freedom
whose roots are in the natural Order of the universe.
