Wow, I must have sounded completely callous. By "Kid patrol" I meant "homeschooling the other three kids", not "taking care of Tennyson." He definitely rates over State of the Union coverage. :-)
I did just have the realization that I won't be blogging tonight, because I'll be trading places with the Duchess. The hospital doesn't have toilet paper, IVs or food, so it probably also lacks DSL internet service.
Tennyson really wants to come home, he hates all the injections. The Duchess made a deal with him that he earns 2 hours of video game time for every shot, redeemable when he gets home.
Anyway, you guys are great. Thanks for praying! Priority today is to hopefully transfer him to Borys Clinic where they have food, IVs and toilet paper. See you in 24 hours.

Posted by: Hello at février 3, 2005 06:55 PMJust an update. . . Tennyson now has an IV and is very happy not to have shots in the bum anymore. The new hospital is great, and Hubby is there with him tonight and I'm about to snuggle with the other boys and get some sleep.
Thanks, y'all, for your prayers.
Posted by: The Duchess at février 3, 2005 07:07 PMGlad to hear the good report. We'll keep up the prayers.
The bribe of video time reminds me of the time I had pneumonia at age five, except I got a puppy out of the deal!
Posted by: Missy at février 3, 2005 07:48 PMPraying for you all. Hospitals are horrible places for little boys.
Even cushy-food serving-toilet paper-full service ones like we have in the states.
Get well soon!

Posted by: Brian Greenwell at février 4, 2005 08:04 AMI pray that Tennyson makes a complete recovery. Good to hear that he is in a better hospital. Pneumonia is very serious, especially for a child. My brother, then about forty and in very good condition had a bad case of pneumonia and was sick for about two weeks. Sorry have not said anything before this. I have been away from this site for several days.
