Before Arlen Specter was installed as Judiciary Chair, some enterprising conservative should have distributed copies of the old fable Scorpion and the Frog to the Senate Republicans. How many examples do we need before we realize it's his nature to stick Republicans in the back?
Well, we have another one now. He's hired Hannibal Kemerer, former assistant general counsel to the NAACP. In what capacity? He's responsible for vetting Bush's judicial nominees. As the American Spctator puts it: "When word of Kemerer's hiring spread within the NAACP and Democratic Senate ranks, virtual whoops of glee were being emailed about."
I hate to be an I told you so, but. . .

Unfortunately and in spite of all the letters I sent - there it is. Specter - yuck.
I can't believe this guy keeps getting elected.
