Readers here had differing views on the war in Iraq. Hopefully though, we all long to see a free and democratic Iraq come out of the situation. The New York Times staff slipped today, and published a positive article about Iraq's prospects for democracy.
According to the article, the Shi'ite coalition poised to win power is avowedly secular.
