Manic Moonbats on Parade -- a New Discoshaman Joint

MoveOn, Michael Moore -- It's my turn. Have moviemaker, will polemicize.

Check out my new film montage of Leftist Wackadoos -- Manic Moonbats on Parade, featuring:

1. A killer soundtrack by the Dead Kennedys and Howard Dean

2. Lots of wild-eyed Dems doing wild-eyed Dem things

3. Schadenfreude-enriched post-election quotes from agonizing Dems

It's a documentary film that dares to ask the tough questions, like "Can we stop pretending the Left loves America, too?"

What people are saying:

"Watch out, Michael Moore. You've got competition." -Instapundit

"Couldn't have said it better myself." -JunkYardBlog

"Wow! Impactful. That made a bigger impression on me than Michael Moore makes on a Barcalounger!" -The Duchess

***Warning -- NOT INTENDED FOR KIDS OR BOB JONES GRADUATES.

Also, a HUGE thank you to Zombietime.com for a lot of the best photos.

Ack! I just accidentally deleted someone in a fit of spam-clearance. Whoever it was, sorry! Please repost your comment, and I promise not to re-nuke you. :)

Great job.

Awesome film makes me wonder how to get through to all those misguided people...or should we just ship them to canada?

Posted by: Proud Republican Gal at novembre 7, 2004 01:43 PM

Oh, PLEASE don't send them to Canada! We have much more than our share! (At least the media and government and recent court decisions give that impression.) The people around here are mostly plain old conservative folk, trying to decide whether to keep the church organ or a certain hymn book. ;-)

Great job, Disco!!

Thanks, Carol. And sorry for the "snotty Canadians" comment. I know there are some really, really lovely exceptions. :)

Posted by: Discoshaman at novembre 7, 2004 03:05 PM

You, sir, are a personal hero. :-)

Awesome work, Disco!

Fantastic proof that moonbats are alive and well. You did a great job, Disco! I especially liked your statement at the end. Yeah, liberals do hate the US. *sigh*

Did anyone else see the article Little Green Footballs posted? NYT has a writer, Dean Murphy, who has written a thinly veiled wish for Bush's assassination. The article istitled, "Bolts From the Political Blue: Can History Save the Democrats?"

The answer would appear to be "no."

Posted by: Romeocat at novembre 8, 2004 11:35 PM

Those people aren't liberal. Liberal means open minded. They certainly are not that. Many are just misinformed over zealous children who haven't grown up.

Posted by: Will at novembre 9, 2004 12:13 AM

"Liberal means open minded. . ."

Well, it used to mean that, anyway.

Thanks for the kind words, y'all. :) And for the new folks -- welcome to the Clog!

You underestimate Bob Jones graduates.

Of course there are no nut jobs on the right...

Is this type of film really what the country needs? Would someone who loves America really want to push the divide of in our country further?

When I consider the nut jobs in this film, and the type of people who would make a film like this I wonder what the future of this country is. Sometimes I can hardly tell the difference between the far right and the far left, I guess a certain type of person (Whacko) just needs to be in an extremist group and it's kind of random which extreme they end up on.

Posted by: Randy at novembre 14, 2004 05:19 AM

Well, Randy, when I see Discoshaman given the same place of honor by the RNC that the Dems gave Michael Moore, I'll be willing to grant you that point.

Posted by: Achillea at novembre 14, 2004 05:33 AM

Good work! I linked to it on my blog.

Wow, you're a mind reader! You showed the exact reason I voted Republican for the first time ever this year.

Posted by: Gary Rosen at novembre 14, 2004 05:51 AM

I particularly like the way you managed the financing! When this opens, your box-office-take to production-costs ratio is going to be incredible! Most excellent job editing, too!

I see a Golden Globe, a Palme d'Or, and an Oscar in your future.

Best quote I have seen from a Canadian:
"You won't take our beef, We won't take your pigs"

Posted by: Burt at novembre 14, 2004 12:23 PM

Nicely done, but would have been A LOT more effective if you'd used quotes from limelight Terrorcrats (celebs and politicians), rather than faceless, nameless DU nutjobs.

Posted by: Tom at novembre 14, 2004 06:21 PM

THIS is why I registered (Republican) and not only voted but campaigned (for GWB) the first time in my life this past election!

Posted by: JC at novembre 14, 2004 10:49 PM

Oh yeah, great job. Love it!

Posted by: JC at novembre 14, 2004 10:51 PM

Tom, I think you have a good point.

But what is so. . . disturbing. . . to me, is that it's not simply the Michael Moores and celebs getting all wacky these days--but it's filtering down and some of the more "normal liberals" are becoming extremist leftists. I think this clip illustrates that.

Posted by: The Duchess at novembre 17, 2004 02:19 AM

You've just proven every point liberal whackos make about you - rightist whackos. Stop hating America. Atone for your sins. Repent. Love your neighbor.
